Fitness was always a part of my life as a kid. My family was into sports like soccer, football, basketball, and even track & field. Growing up I always had the mindset that the more muscles and definitions I had the higher I’ll jump and the more girls would like me. That is what I think really kick started the importance of being fit for me. Running cross country two sometimes three times a week for three to four miles with my uncle and brother was amazing. I loved the wind and the outdoor environment. It always felt good, different but still good.

Most of the time as we grow up we tend to forget how we felt playing sports and working out outside as kids. I’ve never like running indoor hating how I felt when the air would get dry and musty. If it wasn’t for my basketball coach having us run suicides and steps inside, most of my cardio work was done outdoors running the streets of my neighborhood or training at the track. After turning 20, I started thinking more about bulking up because of modeling. I started losing that outside element due to the lack of basketball and other outdoor sports and activities. I realized that even though I’m getting bigger I still didn’t have the look I wanted – that lose of outdoor activity is to blame. At least for me, I feel training outdoors is more effective for me and really allows me to work up a sweat.
